Bright volume elastic for hair with ponytails is a very simple and fast accessory for long hair. Using different fabrics, sew several gum options for different looks at once.
You will need:
- cotton fabric;
- needle and thread for sewing;
- elastic tape approx. 18-23 cm;
- tailor pins;
- chalk pencil;
- scissors;
- ruler for patchwork;
- tape measure
DIY hair comb with flowers
Step 1
Draw a bow template of the desired length on paper and cut it out. Put it on a double-folded fabric, pin it and use a chalk pencil to translate the contours of the part onto the fabric.
Step 2
Lay a line along the line marked with a chalk pencil, leaving an open area of approx. 5 cm for eversion.
Cut the seam allowances to a width of 3 mm, twist the bow.
Sew the open area of the seam manually with a blind seam.
Basic Hand Stitches
Step 3
Cut a strip of fabric measuring 50 x 14 cm, fold it in half along the front side inward and draw an allowance along a longitudinal section 1 cm wide.
Step 4
Lay a line along the marked line. Iron the strip and twist.

Step 5
Chop open slices with the front side inwards and grind to half the width.
Step 6
Pass the elastic tape through the hole, put the ends 1 cm apart and sew them by hand.

Step 7
Sew open seam area manually.
Tie a bow over the seam.
