The first issue of 2020 of the magazine Burda will delight us with a selection of current models for all occasions. Read about the catwalk sources of inspiration, accent nuances of cut and ideas for tailoring in the review.
What has the new 2020 prepared for us? Just one more confirmation that the fashion cycle is noticeably reduced. We can easily list the features of the silhouette of any decade of the 20th century, whether it is the oblique cut of the 30s or New look of the 50s. Now on the podium every season an unimaginable mix of all kinds of eras. And along with the voluminous sleeves of the 80s, there is an expanded shoulder girdle of the early 90s and narrow silhouettes of the 70s. All this was reflected in the models presented in the January issue.

Skirt pants again with us! One of the hits of the 80s with a light hand Celine reappeared on the catwalk and in our wardrobe! In my opinion, an interesting thing with the appearance of a skirt and the functionality of trousers. What to combine with? And with what would you wear a skirt of similar length and silhouette?
On a note:
If you are afraid that wide trousers ankle-deep will steal from your height from a dozen centimeters, create a color vertical in the image and choose the shoes and the top of the set in the same gamut as the trousers. Either lengthen the pants and wear with high heels or a platform so that the pants almost completely cover the shoes.

Charming dress with a touch of the 70s. My heart trembled at the thought, “Oh, horror, retro! Old! Wearing what?” I can reassure - retro, but fashionable. The dress will look great from plastic materials and in any length complementary to you, from mini to maxi.
On a note:
Perfect for girls with a pronounced waist, and printed fabric will mask an imperfect tummy.
Jumpsuit with futuristic charm

Jumpsuit "from the future": a model with an expanded metallic shoulder strap looks very futuristic. However, from thin denim, dense jersey or a suit, the jumpsuit will be no less stylish, but slightly less demanding on the set.
On a note:
a trendy thing that creates a fashionable masculine silhouette of an “inverted triangle”, helps girls with voluminous hips to balance the top of the figure.
Sheath Dress

Sheath dress is currently not the most fashionable style. However, for ladies working in conservative areas, such as banking, law, education (depending on which area, of course), it can become an excellent wardrobe unit, since the style has to wear the dress as a second layer under a jacket or cardigan. But in this case, take a closer look at the choice of print: the cell, strip, abstraction will support the "business" message.
On a note:
Perfectly suits figures with a pronounced waist.

A very comfortable jacket that can perfectly complement both trouser images and sets with a skirt. On the basis of the pattern, you can get a stylish coat without a lining of two-layer fabric. Or a voluminous down jacket with buttons. You can fit such a jacket with a wide belt, a thick accent lace in the spirit of spring trends, or sew a belt from the same fabric.
On a note:
Rounded silhouette lines and a shawl collar add softness.
Wrap Coat

A very relaxed variation on the theme of a bathrobe. If you want to enhance the effect of ease, choose soft plastic fabrics. When choosing more dense fabrics such as denim or leather, pleats of a one-piece sleeve will look more graphic. You can also play with different textures by choosing different fabrics for the details of the coat. Based on the pattern, you can sew a cute cardigan.
On a note:
The coat is ideal for girls with a fragile top.
Unusual parka

The park in a minimalist style with a flying coquette like a trench coat is simply created for restrained and elegantly laid-back images. Light pastel shades will add a noble gloss to the product. The park can be sewn, for example, from costume silk or organza and get a very unusual thing that can be worn both as outerwear and as a dress.
On a note:
only a slightly pulled drawstring will fit any type of figure.
Denim Jacket

A cropped jacket with a slight hint of military is relevant in this and in the coming season. The valves on the chest not only draw attention to this area, but also add volume to it. So that such a jacket does not look heavy and square, pick up companions in the same tone with her, for example, a dark jacket, a skirt or trousers of dark colors, and a light - light ones. And be careful when choosing a print: too large and contrasting print can visually increase the top in volume.
On a note:
in my personal opinion, the sleeves on the cuffs with the clasp would be more functional - they can be easily rolled up, showing graceful wrists, and thereby adding femininity and fragility to the image.
Dress with polo closure

Polo is one of the trends of the season, and a shirt dress has long become a modern classic. Specifically, this model, thanks to the drawstring and polo clasp, has a clear sporting focus. However, even without a drawstring, the dress will be lovely.
On a note:
so that the assembly at the waist does not fill, choose a thin flowing fabric.
A-line skirt

A-line skirt, cut along the oblique, and even asymmetrical, is certainly worthy of all praise. The journal option is also good for printing, because the diagonally located strip is one of the most powerful tools for correcting the figure, stretches and slim. Such a skirt can be worn with anything: a sweater, sweater, blouse, top, jacket - it is absolutely universal. Those who are worried about the harmony of their figure, I advise you to choose the top to match one of the colors of the print.
On a note:
a skirt sewn to this pattern can easily become part of the New Year's ensemble.
