The dream of every woman! Especially in our country, where the Russian empresses introduced fashion to them. Today they are available to everyone - because Swarovski crystals cannot be distinguished from natural gemstones!
But the "imperial" fashion involves not only the luxury of expensive fabrics and the sparkling of precious stones. This is something more serious, associated with state symbols - crowns, tiaras, orders, medals. For this contest, the first secular work in Russia in the technique of gold and pearl sewing was done - before this was a privilege of church art.
I think that the jury was not easy: to choose the best among SUCH royal jewelry is an almost impossible task.
Nevertheless, the results were summed up in all three categories!
In the nomination DRESSES first place awarded to work Corset "Princess"made by master Julina. In the restaurant hall on the tables, competitive works exhibited in the top list were exhibited. In the middle, like a brilliant skyscraper, stood a corset decorated with lace, pearls and precious sapphires. Swarovski. He was only allowed to look at him, moreover, "without breathing."
In the nomination ACCESSORIES first place Antonina Shakhina with work Transformer Tiara "Imperial Orders" (photo below left). The Order is a fashionable topic not only in the "imperial" fashion. Stars, miniature crowns, crosses decorated with multi-colored pearls, sapphires, rubies, emeralds Swarovski - on a bright red ribbon. Why transformer? This is also one of the fashion trends: you can remove or add one or more elements inside the jewelry, depending on the occasion.
Second place awarded Guzel Bakeeva for work Handbag "Frosty patterns" (photo above in the middle). Looking at this luxury, you can imagine a beautiful aristocrat in a trio flying on white snow at the Mariinsky Theater ... Czech and Japanese beads and pearls are perfectly combined with precious stones of pale shades Swarovskiwhich are very well combined with the delicate gray mink fur. Yes, precious stones and furs are always highly valued by Russian women!
Got third place Natalya Sorokina for work Ddecorative belt "Russian Empress: XXI Century" (photo at the top right). Soutache, pearls and Swarovski gemstones, and in front - a luxurious decorative buckle in an oriental style with the largest stone in the center. Of course, only dresses from the most expensive fabrics will fit this belt!
In the nomination JEWELERY first place Evgenia Belskaya with work Empire Luxury Earrings (photo at the top left). Also on the topic of Russian orders, in the form of two crossed crosses. But the amazingly subtle and diverse technique of execution, as well as the variety of materials used, are also striking - here, both metal and precious stones Swarovski different facets, and gold embroidery ... And at the same time - impeccable harmony.
Second place got Maria Vukolova for work Big monurez Monurezir (photo above in the middle). Once upon a time, only a small diadem was called a parity (parure - fr.). Then this term began to denote a large precious set of jewelry, united by a single artistic solution and the use of the same gems and other elements. For Maria, it was a set of a hoop with an ostrich feather, a necklace, bracelets, earrings, hairpins, pins. The silver-white tone of the jewelry combined them into a single whole. Materials: the world's smallest Japanese beads, pearls and sapphires Swarovski.
Third place awarded Zoe Numeric for work Soutache necklace "Catherine's whim" (dedicated to the wife of Peter I, Catherine I, photo above right). Soutache, a thin braided cord, forms bizarre Baroque shapes. Inside, these forms are filled with precious and semi-precious Swarovski stones, Swarovski pearls and small beads. Despite the fact that the stones are completely different, the necklace looks very organic.
I want to join Congratulations and wishes for further creative success to all participants of the contest, and first of all to the winners!
