Tzuri Gueta is a world-famous designer from Israel. His fabrics, accessories and jewelry are something completely special.
The silicone from which they are made are indistinguishable from living tissues. Most often, the works of Tzuri Geta resemble the inhabitants of the deep sea.

Tzuri spent his childhood on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea in a small place near Tel Aviv. Hence his unbridled fantasy of an unknown underwater world. And of course, his creations, although he already lives in Paris, resemble seaweed and stars, corals and unusual shells.

When you enter his shop (studio), located near the Place de la Bastille, in the first instant you involuntarily startle! White strands with huge drop-shaped growths hang from the ceiling. They, like the sea wonders in the windows, seem completely alive. There is an irresistible desire to touch them. But the very first touch is shocking again. The material from which they are made - silicone - does not look like anything you touched before ...
Geta, a 49-year-old artist, invented a unique way to create objects that cannot be distinguished from living beings, applying one well-known recipe for artificial material on textiles - mesh or lace.This combination gives the amazing effect that one encounters when examining its stunning imagination of fabrics, accessories, and jewelry.
"I act directly on the senses," - says the restless man with a thick head of black hair and very dark eyes. “For me, it’s important not only how the object looks, but also its“ tactility. ”The viewer should have a desire to touch it!”
Tzuri Geta honed his technique for a long time. By profession, both a designer and an engineer in the textile industry, at the end of his studies, he received a place in Paris from the famous fashion researcher Lee Edelkurt. The novice designer used the chance given to him in full. He worked tirelessly and ... after 10 years, he invented his own unusual material, which quickly found exclusive fans in all parts of the world.
Among the clients of Tzuri Geta are Christian Lacroix, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Issei Miyaki.
He receives orders from everywhere - from theaters to museums, including the Paris Musee des Arts Decoratifs. And in 2009, Tzuri Geta won the Paris Prize Grand prix de la creation. Bravo!
