The Oldyshka modeling agency attracted the attention of the public with its unique specialization: the agency was the first to specialize in older models.
The author of the project was Igor Gavar, who has been blogging on the Internet for the same name for several years. Initially, the photographer only shared an unusual “age” street-style, then exhibitions, media attention and wide popularity followed, which led to the creation of a new unusual agency. According to Gavar, his project will make people take a fresh look at old age and once again make sure that there is no concept of age for beauty.
According to experts of the fashion industry, the enterprise is most likely doomed to success, since in the modern world of fashion, in its Russian segment, in particular, there are simply no age-based role models, although old age does not mean at all that interest in fashion and a desire to dress beautifully are fading away.
At the moment, the agency has seven models, the youngest of which is 62 years old, and the oldest is a 78-year-old woman. The most famous model of the agency is rightfully considered to be 70-year-old Olga, who starred in an advertisement for the Cyrille Gassiline brand, the Christmas tree clip and the film by Renata Litvinova.
